WelcomeSchouten Stud is a full-time passion of breeder Arend Jan Schouten who has been dedicated to providing the best quality Royal Dutch Sport Horses (KWPN) since 1983. All 70 horses that have been bred to date are descendants of an old Groninger- Olderburger Mare line. A prominent character trait of this line is that they are very willing workers. This willingness is the base of the successes in national and international sport arenas. In addition careful selection resulted in beautiful horses with excellent gaits and show jumping capacities. On this website we aim to introduce all the horses and their success stories.
